Open to:? *most talented and ambitious up-and-coming filmmakers, distributors and film critics, who are (disregarding their age) in the first years of their professional careers *Film students who are about to graduate or taking part in post-graduate programmes can apply, but should have realised outstanding achievements already and * Young film critics and young journalists
Venue:?63rd Berlin International Film Festival (February 7 ? 17, 2013) and on the events of the Berlinale Talent Campus (February 9 ? 14, 2013).

For filmmakers:

• You are working in one of these areas: screenwriting, producing, directing, cinematography, acting, editing, sound design, film score composing, animation, art direction, production design.
• You have worked with a credit in one of the afore-mentioned disciplines on at least one short film that was awarded a prize, OR you worked as such on a film that screened at an international film festival, OR you have worked on a film of at least 60 minutes in length.

For distributors:

For film critics and young journalists:

• You have published at least three articles as a film critic in the last 2 years. Fluent in English (in writing and speaking); Eager to report on films screened at the Berlin International Film Festival and on events held during the Berlinale Talent Campus 2013; Having published articles in newspapers, film magazines, on websites or at universities.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1) General application ? obligatory for all applicants of the Berlinale Talent Campus #11 ? download preview to the application questions

2) Hands-on training programmes application ? applicants have the opportunity to fill in an additional application for one of the hands-on training programmes related to their field of work. The hands-on training programmes application is an additional application. The general application has to be completed and submitted first before applying for one of the hands-on programmes. Applicants can only apply for one of the hands-on training programmes. Berlinale Talent Campus alumni can apply to join the Campus again if they want to take part in either Talent Project Market, Doc Station, Script Station or Short Film Station ? but only if they have not participated already in previous years in the same hands-on training programme they now wish to apply for.

The hands-on training programmes of the Berlinale Talent Campus include:

FOR CAMPUS ALUMNI

Alumni of the Berlinale Talent Campus are invited to apply for the Doc Station, Script Station and Short Film Station as well as for the Talent Project Market and Talent Press. All other hands-on training programmes are for participants applying for the first time only:

WHAT WE WILL OFFER YOU
